Overview
Our Consulting Client is supporting one of there major partners on a major Workday transformation programme and requires an experienced Procurement Process Lead to lead the design and implementation of procurement processes within the Workday environment.
This is not an operational P2P or Accounts Payable-focused role. The emphasis is on procurement transformation, specifically Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes, operating model design, process harmonisation, and deployment of Workday procurement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and optimisation of Source-to-Contract processes within the Workday programme.
- Support the broader Customer Process Transformation workstream, ensuring procurement processes align with future-state operating models.
- Define and implement procurement process standards, governance, controls, and ways of working.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, procurement leadership, technology teams, and implementation partners.
- Drive process improvements across sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and procurement governance.
- Support requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, testing, training, and deployment activities.
- Ensure procurement processes are integrated effectively with wider finance, supplier, and operational processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a procurement transformation professional rather than a traditional Procure-to-Pay or Accounts Payable specialist. The successful candidate will bring a strategic process mindset, deep Source-to-Contract expertise, and ideally experience delivering procurement capability through Workday technologies.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Procurement Transformation Lead, Procurement Process Lead, or similar.
- Strong expertise across Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes.
- Experience delivering procurement transformation programmes within large and complex organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management and process-led transformation experience.
- Ability to operate autonomously within a fast-paced programme environment.
