Our client, a globally recognised leader in innovation and manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team at the Skelmersdale manufacturing plant. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the reliability and performance of production equipment and processes within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improving the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel and production equipment and processes
- Tracking and reporting of process improvement results
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and equipment breakdown repairs
- Establishing process conditions and carrying out in-line quality checks
- Process monitoring and controlling according to Statistical Process Control (SPC) method
- Analysing data to fault find and developing prioritised improvement plans for the platform
- Maintaining and developing the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality and production schedule requirements
About You:
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic fault finding.
- Experience with robotics (ABB preferred but training can be provided).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Willingness to work a night shift on an exceptional basis if required.
- Ability to assess and upgrade procedures and systems.
Working Hours:
- Morning Shift: Mon - Thu (6am - 2pm), Fri (6am - 11:30am)
- Afternoon Shift: Mon - Thu (2pm - 10pm), Fri (11am - 4:35pm)
