We’re working exclusively on a confidential search for a Business Unit Manager to lead and scale the dental division of a well-established British manufacturer and distributor. With a proud legacy and ambitious growth plans, this is a rare opportunity to shape the strategy, build a team and drive commercial success with genuine autonomy. You’ll join the leadership team of a UK business that’s respected for its technical expertise, operational stability and trusted customer relationships - while playing a pivotal role in modernising and expanding its dental offering.
This is a high-impact commercial role ideal for someone who’s comfortable at the sharp end of product launches, supplier partnerships, sales strategy and team leadership.
Responsibilities- Lead and grow a dedicated dental division, reporting to the board
- Shape commercial strategy, pricing models, marketing approach and supplier mix
- Launch new product lines and expand the existing portfolio
- Recruit, coach and manage a small high-performing commercial team
- Drive both direct and partner-led sales growth
- Work with international suppliers and UK customers to bring relevant, value-led solutions to market
- Operate in a hybrid model with travel to HQ and key customers as needed
- 5+ years in a senior commercial or general management role within the dental industry
- Deep understanding of product dynamics, sales strategy, and customer needs
- Track record of growing revenues and launching new solutions
- Hands-on leadership style - someone who can both build and do
- Strategic thinker with commercial instinct and strong execution ability
- Experience with marketing planning and supplier engagement
- Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to lead something of your own
This role offers a strong financial package with plenty of added value: Base salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE + Annual Performance Bonus Car Allowance: £500PCM + Annual Service + Full Insurance Pension Scheme, Life Assurance & Bupa Health Plan.
