Role Description

At NProject, we believe sustainability should go beyond frameworks and certifications. It's about bringing together knowledge and experience to make better decisions and create meaningful, lasting results.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Certified Sustainable Project Professional (CSPP®) to collaborate with us as an Associate Trainer and Sustainable Project Management Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Training & Development (Primary Responsibility)

• Deliver engaging, instructor‑led CSPP® training, primarily through live online sessions, with occasional in‑person delivery.
• Explain the PMI-GPM P5™ framework and its five dimensions: People, Planet, Prosperity, Process and Product.
• Help learners understand how ESG principles, sustainability risks and opportunities relate to project management.
• Use practical examples, case studies and interactive discussions to connect theory with real‑world applications.
• Support learners with certification preparation, practical exercises and constructive feedback.
• Deliver official training in accordance with applicable GPM requirements and authorised materials.
• Collaborate with NProject's training team to maintain consistent, high‑quality learning experiences.

Sustainability Consultancy (Additional Opportunities)

Depending on client needs and individual expertise, assignments may include:

• Supporting organisations in integrating sustainability and ESG principles into project and programme management.
• Applying the P5 framework to assess project sustainability impacts and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contributing to P5 Impact Analyses, Sustainability Management Plans and practical improvement recommendations.
• Supporting sustainability maturity reviews, gap analyses and stakeholder workshops.
• Advising on sustainability‑related risks, performance measures and responsible project delivery practices.
• Supporting ESG reporting, sustainability assessments or related advisory work where the consultant has the appropriate specialist knowledge and experience.
• Working with NProject's consultancy team to develop practical, client‑focused solutions.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Active Certified Sustainable Project Professional (CSPP®) certification.
• Strong understanding of the PMI–GPM P5™ framework and its practical application.
• Sound knowledge of ESG principles and sustainability considerations in project management.
• Practical experience in project management, sustainability or related professional environments.
• Experience delivering professional training, facilitating workshops or supporting adult learning.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and connect frameworks with practical examples.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Confidence delivering live online training and using digital learning platforms.
• Strong organisational skills, professionalism and ability to work independently.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• GPM authorisation to deliver official CSPP® courses.
• Previous experience in sustainable project management consultancy or client advisory roles.
• Experience developing P5 Impact Analyses or Sustainability Management Plans.
• Understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, including GRI, ESRS or ISSB Standards.
• Experience supporting sustainability assessments, business improvement or organisational change.
• Additional PMI®, GPM® or sustainability‑related certifications.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools and their practical application in training or sustainability consultancy.

GPM instructor authorisation must be in place before independently delivering official CSPP® training.

Working Arrangement & Remuneration

• Contract‑based associate opportunity.
• Primarily remote, instructor‑led training.
• Occasional in‑person training or consultancy engagements.
• Training delivery rate: £300 per day.
• Additional preparation, bespoke training and consultancy assignments will be agreed separately according to scope, complexity and required expertise.
• Assignments will depend on client demand and availability; no minimum volume of work is guaranteed.
