As the Accounts Assistant, you will take responsibility for:
- Processing Expense and Credit Card claims β checking for VAT compliance and GL coding.
- Pre-Payments, Fixed Assets, Invoices log, where applicable identified during the processing of the Invoices and Expenses.
- Processing manual payments for monies due to suppliers based overseas.
- Supplier Statement reconciliations.
- Ad hoc Credit Control β communicating with Customers via email and via telephone to chase overdue accounts assigned by the Accounts Manager. Escalating problem accounts to the Office Manager.
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties.
Part-qualified AAT or qualified, or qualified by experience.
Knowledge of transactional finance and the month-end process.
Experience of using Excel for reporting is a must.
