Are you an experienced QHSE leader or Quality Manager who thrives in a manufacturing environment where quality, safety and continuous improvement genuinely matter? We're looking for a Quality / QHSE Manager to take ownership of health, safety, environmental and quality performance across UK and international operations. This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll drive standards, influence culture and play a key part in maintaining a reputation for excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with real breadth - from leading audits and compliance through to shaping strategy and embedding best practice across multiple sites.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading QHSE across UK and international sites, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and industry standards
- Maintaining and developing quality management systems (ISO9001 / AS9100)
- Driving a positive safety culture across the business
- Leading internal and external audits, including supplier audits
- Managing non-conformances, complaints, and corrective actions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
- Acting as the key contact for HSE and regulatory bodies
- Leading investigations, risk assessments, and implementation of safe working practices
- Delivering QHSE training across the business
- Managing and developing the QHSE team
- Reporting performance and key metrics to senior leadership
To be a success, you will need:
- NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong experience across Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental within manufacturing
- Proven track record of managing and improving QHSE systems
- Experience with ISO standards (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and delivery
- Internal audit experience
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel (including occasional international travel)
Desirable:
- NEBOSH Diploma / IOSH membership
- Experience within engineering, aerospace, oil & gas or similar sectors
- Knowledge of machining or materials (ferrous / non-ferrous)
- Lean / Six Sigma experience
