About Us
We're working with a growing business playing a massive part in the Energy transition, they are looking for an Estimator to join their growing team. This role could suit someone already with a strong civils background within utilities or similar industry.
Role Overview
As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for estimating the cost required and ensuring that projects are quoted accurately. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and clients to prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing bid opportunities and supplying cost packs to sales within agreed timeframes
- Assessing project technical requirements
- Determining project risks and planning for mitigation
- Supporting colleagues through mentoring and peer reviewing work
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working on capital delivery projects
- Strong civils experience in utilities or similar
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in cost control
Location: Hybrid (2 days required on site per week). Will be required on site / in office more initially for induction and training.
