Business Development Manager

Location: Remote (UK-based) – Must be available in the West Midlands monthly

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 + Uncapped Commission

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development / Sales Manager to drive the distribution of residential battery storage solutions into national distributors and wholesalers across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-oriented individual with an established industry network to capitalise on a rapidly growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure partnerships with national distributors and wholesalers.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth in the UK market.
  • Leverage your existing industry connections to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Attend monthly meetings in the West Midlands and travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the electrical, renewable energy, or battery storage sector.
  • A strong network of contacts in distributors and wholesalers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a track record of hitting targets.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a wider team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
