Consult Construct is looking for an ambitious and commercially aware Chartered Building Surveyor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing surveyor who wants more than just a standard role. You’ll work across a varied portfolio of professional and project-led instructions, manage client relationships, lead projects, and play a visible role in a growing independent consultancy. Alongside traditional Building Surveying work, there will also be opportunities to support specialist commissions in building safety, external wall systems, cladding remediation, FRAEW-related work and post-Grenfell projects through our dedicated fire team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering a range of Building Surveying services
- Managing projects from instruction to completion
- Acting as Contract Administrator where required
- Producing reports, specifications and technical advice
- Managing client relationships and repeat business opportunities
- Supporting commercial performance, WIP and invoicing
- Contributing to specialist building safety / remediation projects
- Helping shape a growing and ambitious business
What We’re Looking For:
- MRICS (or equivalent Chartered status)
- Strong Building Surveying experience
- Commercial awareness and client focus
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Positive, proactive mindset
Experience in areas such as external wall systems, cladding remediation, building safety, FRAEW assessments or related residential work would be highly advantageous.
