The role:
- Develop and grow sales of industrial gearboxes, geared motors and efficient drive systems across the North of England.
- Work with OEMs, system integrators, distributors and end users across manufacturing and industrial markets.
- Identify and convert project based opportunities involving helical, planetary and heavy duty drive solutions.
- Manage and grow an existing customer base while opening new strategic accounts.
- Act as a technical and commercial interface between customers and internal engineering teams.
- Drive regional growth through consultative, value led selling rather than price driven transactions.
- Contribute to market positioning and long term regional strategy.
Requirements:
- Strong background in industrial gearboxes, geared motors or mechanical drive systems.
- Experience selling into technically demanding industrial environments.
- Comfortable competing against established drive and gearbox brands in the market.
- Proven ability to develop territory growth and win complex sales.
- Commercially driven, resilient and motivated by stretching but achievable targets.
- Experience across sectors such as manufacturing, automation, materials handling, recycling, quarrying, aggregates, food and beverage, logistics or heavy industry.
