Consulo are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to develop OEM and industrial manufacturing customers throughout Yorkshire and the North.
This is far more than a catalogue sales role.
You'll work alongside an experienced technical team, helping customers improve machinery performance through engineered mechanical drive solutions while building long-term partnerships with some of UK manufacturing's best-known businesses.
We're particularly interested in speaking with high-performing sales professionals from technical OEM environments.
If you've successfully sold engineered products or systems into OEMs or industrial manufacturers and enjoy solution selling, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new OEM and industrial manufacturing customers.
- Grow and develop existing key accounts.
- Identify specification opportunities early within customer projects.
- Build relationships with design, project and production engineers.
- Engage with engineering managers and senior decision makers.
- Work closely with internal technical and applications teams.
- Manage projects from enquiry through to order.
- Deliver sustainable territory growth.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline through proactive business development.
- We're Looking For
- Proven field sales experience.
- Experience selling into OEMs or industrial manufacturers.
- Consultative, solution-based sales approach.
- Strong new business development ability.
- Excellent account management skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and engineering curiosity.
- Ability to understand technical applications.
- Knowledge of concepts such as torque, gear ratios or mechanical power transmission would be advantageous.
- Comfortable discussing engineering solutions with technically minded customers.
