We are recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for an established international manufacturer supplying engineered products and solutions into industrial, manufacturing, processing and material-handling applications.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody at the earlier stages of their career who wants to develop within a professional B2B sales environment.
Previous experience within engineering would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
We are equally interested in people with strong customer service, sales administration, internal sales or commercial experience who have the aptitude and enthusiasm to learn technical products.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Responding to incoming customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Preparing and issuing quotations and following them through to order.
- Processing customer orders accurately through the company's systems.
- Building relationships with existing customers and providing excellent day-to-day service.
- Proactively following up quotations and identifying additional sales opportunities.
- Supporting customers with product enquiries and working with technical colleagues where additional application support is required.
- Liaising with Sales, Technical, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance.
- Keeping customer, quotation and opportunity information updated within CRM and ERP systems.
- Developing your understanding of the company's products, customer applications and wider industrial markets.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service, Sales Administration, Sales Support, Account Management or a similar commercial role.
- Alternatively, an engineering or technical background with the personality and commercial aptitude to move into sales.
- Confident telephone and email communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with customers and building professional relationships.
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail when preparing quotations and processing orders.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM/ERP systems.
- An interest in engineering, manufacturing, industrial products or technical solutions would be advantageous.
- Positive, ambitious and willing to learn.
- Someone looking for a career, rather than simply another administrative position.
Why Apply?
You’ll receive exposure to a broad range of industrial customers and engineered applications while developing skills across internal sales, quotations, customer development, technical product support and account management.
For somebody looking to establish themselves within technical B2B sales, this represents an excellent platform to learn, develop and progress within an international manufacturing organisation
