A well‑established residential property surveying practice is looking to recruit a Graduate Surveyor to join their structured APC training programme. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate with an RICS‑accredited BSc or MSc degree who is looking to kick‑start their career as a Chartered Surveyor.
The programme is designed to provide full end‑to‑end training, supporting you through to RICS qualification and beyond. You will begin your career in a hands‑on Property Inspector role before progressing into EPC assessments and eventually residential surveying work upon successful completion of training and RICS accreditation.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake residential property inspections, producing condition reports and inventories for rental properties
- Use specialist software to complete accurate reports and maintain diary management
- Develop strong observational, analytical, and reporting skills
- Support EPC inspections following initial training and development
- Visit residential properties and liaise directly with homeowners and tenants
- Build experience across multiple property‑related disciplines through structured training and development
- Progress towards RICS qualification through practical and supported APC training
- 6–12 month initial training period as a Property Inspector
- Progression into EPC assessment qualification and work
- Dedicated weekly development time across surveying disciplines
- Exposure to wider property sectors and industry contacts
- Structured pathway towards RICS qualification
- Progression into Residential Surveyor role upon successful completion of APC
