About the Role

Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist infrastructure consultancy to recruit a Senior Land Referencer to support the delivery of major renewables and infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering land referencing services on nationally significant schemes across the transport, networks, and renewable energy sectors. The successful candidate will support the delivery of land referencing campaigns while helping manage project programmes, client relationships, and statutory process requirements. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement combining home working with time spent in the Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of land referencing activities across multiple infrastructure and renewables projects
  • Assist with the management and coordination of project deliverables and programmes
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support and guide junior team members on land referencing tasks
  • Undertake title interrogation of UK Land Registers
  • Maintain accurate project and land referencing records
  • Ensure deliverables are completed in line with client requirements and project deadlines
  • Support statutory process activities relating to infrastructure schemes
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project delivery

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Geography or a related discipline
  • Previous experience within land referencing or infrastructure projects
  • Good understanding of statutory processes and relevant UK legislation
  • Knowledge of enabling acts relating to CPO, DCO, TWAO, and Hybrid Bills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience interrogating UK Land Registers

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with ArcGIS and spatial data management principles
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working on major infrastructure, transport, or renewable energy schemes
