About the Role

Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist communications technology provider to recruit a Project Manager. This is a key role within a structured project delivery team, responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of technical, operational, and compliance-driven projects across multiple sectors including construction, logistics, manufacturing, and events. You will oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget, and in line with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring scope, cost, quality, and timelines are achieved
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate internal resources, engineers, and third-party suppliers to deliver project milestones
  • Manage procurement activities including raising purchase orders, obtaining quotations, and tracking supply chain performance
  • Liaise with suppliers to monitor lead times, delivery schedules, and ensure materials are available on time
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including negotiation of terms and resolution of issues
  • Verify supplier deliverables against project requirements and resolve discrepancies
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including procurement and operational risks
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, data protection, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide clear and regular project updates to senior stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of project delivery and procurement processes
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Project Management role
  • Strong experience managing procurement, suppliers, and purchase orders
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with high attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana) desirable
  • Experience in regulated, technical, or operational environments advantageous

Desirable Qualifications

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or equivalent
  • Background in engineering, technical services, or communications industries
  • Military background considered an advantage
