About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working with a leading multi-discipline building services contractor to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to support their growing telecommunications division based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced project environment. Supporting Project Managers and operational teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating telecoms and infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth delivery from planning through to completion. The role offers exposure to major projects across the UK alongside a supportive business with a strong family culture and long-term career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop project trackers, staff schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Support Project Managers with the coordination and delivery of live projects
- Assist with quotations, design coordination, and project administration
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor activities
- Organise operator outages, permits, and third-party requirements
- Ensure handover documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales
- Assist with implementing health & safety procedures across projects
- Coordinate client surveys and attend site meetings where required
- Support the control and management of hired plant and equipment
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience within a project coordination, construction, telecoms, or building services environment preferred
- Good understanding of construction health & safety legislation
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple project activities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
