About the Role

Construo Recruitment is working with a leading multi-discipline building services contractor to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to support their growing telecommunications division based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced project environment. Supporting Project Managers and operational teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating telecoms and infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth delivery from planning through to completion. The role offers exposure to major projects across the UK alongside a supportive business with a strong family culture and long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop project trackers, staff schedules, and resource allocation plans
  • Support Project Managers with the coordination and delivery of live projects
  • Assist with quotations, design coordination, and project administration
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor activities
  • Organise operator outages, permits, and third-party requirements
  • Ensure handover documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales
  • Assist with implementing health & safety procedures across projects
  • Coordinate client surveys and attend site meetings where required
  • Support the control and management of hired plant and equipment
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a project coordination, construction, telecoms, or building services environment preferred
  • Good understanding of construction health & safety legislation
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple project activities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
