A growing insulation contractor is looking for a Loft & Cavity Wall Insulation Installer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical background in construction, insulation, or property maintenance to join a busy installation team delivering energy efficiency improvements across residential properties throughout the South West.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Extracting existing cavity wall insulation from residential properties
  • Carrying out minor remedial building works prior to installation
  • Installing bonded bead cavity wall insulation systems
  • Sleeving air bricks and installing ventilation systems where required
  • Completing repointing and brick replacement works as necessary
  • Removing and relaying loft insulation materials
  • Installing loft boarding and ventilation systems
  • Safely operating power tools and hand tools to complete installations
  • Ensuring all work meets required quality, safety, and compliance standards
  • Completing daily installation records and project documentation
  • Carrying out weekly vehicle and stock inspections

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within construction, insulation, or a similar hands-on trade environment preferred
  • Ability to work at height and within confined loft spaces
  • Strong practical skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures

  • NVQ Level 2 in Cavity Wall Insulation
  • Working at Height certification
