Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and rapidly growing construction business to recruit an Electrical Project Coordinator. Based in Peterborough, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor delivering electrical solutions across major projects including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities. You will play a key role in coordinating both temporary and permanent electrical works across multiple live sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project start-up meetings and review project specifications
- Coordinate labour, materials, and resources across multiple sites
- Produce and submit regular progress reports
- Monitor project budgets and support purchasing activities
- Track project performance and programme delivery
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with project timelines
- Attend site meetings where required
- Assist with preparing and submitting quotations for new works
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Management role
- Strong background within the electrical sector
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience supervising or coordinating site teams
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
