A specialist infrastructure consultancy is seeking a Senior Land Referencer to support the delivery of major renewables and infrastructure projects across the UK. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement combining home working with time spent in the Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of land referencing activities across multiple infrastructure and renewables projects
- Assist with the management and coordination of project deliverables and programmes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and guide junior team members on land referencing tasks
- Undertake title interrogation of UK Land Registers
- Maintain accurate project and land referencing records
- Ensure deliverables are completed in line with client requirements and project deadlines
- Support statutory process activities relating to infrastructure schemes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project delivery
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Geography or a related discipline
- Previous experience within land referencing or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of statutory processes and relevant UK legislation
- Knowledge of enabling acts relating to CPO, DCO, TWAO, and Hybrid Bills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience interrogating UK Land Registers
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with ArcGIS and spatial data management principles
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working on major infrastructure, transport, or renewable energy schemes
