Construo Recruitment is working with a well‑established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in North Yorkshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Joiner / Carpenter to join their growing installation team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected business producing and installing high‑quality bespoke joinery products across domestic projects throughout North Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of installations including windows, doors, staircases and other specialist timber products.
The Role
Based from the company's workshop, you will travel to sites across the region alongside an experienced installation team, delivering high‑quality joinery and carpentry work for residential clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing bespoke manufactured joinery including windows, doors, staircases and associated timber products
- Carrying out general second‑fix carpentry works including fitting doors, frames, skirting and architraves
- Completing bespoke joinery installations and minor remedial works as required
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety requirements
- Maintaining a professional and customer‑focused approach on site
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joiner, Carpenter or similar trade professional
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail
- Experience using a range of hand and power tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent qualification
- Experience installing bespoke joinery products within domestic properties
