Construo Recruitment are working in partnership with a growing construction and fit‑out business to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of high‑quality construction and interior projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail‑focused Project Coordinator with experience in construction, fit‑out or project delivery environments. The successful candidate will support project planning, coordination and documentation while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
Role Overview
As Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, assisting with programme management, technical documentation and communication between internal teams, consultants and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning and coordination of construction and fit‑out projects from start to completion
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of project programmes using Primavera P6
- Monitoring project progress and updating schedules to support successful delivery
- Coordinating with project teams, contractors, designers and stakeholders to maintain effective communication
- Preparing project reports, meeting notes and progress updates
- Organising project meetings, preparing agendas and recording accurate minutes
- Supporting the preparation and review of technical documentation, drawings and specifications
- Assisting with CAD drawings, interior design information and construction details
- Tracking project actions, deadlines and deliverables to ensure requirements are met
- Supporting the wider project team with administration and coordination activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or similar construction‑based role
- Understanding of construction methods, finishing trades and building materials
- Experience supporting construction, fit‑out or interior projects
- Experience using Primavera P6 for project scheduling and resource management
- Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar design/documentation software desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proactive approach with strong problem‑solving abilities
- Relevant qualification or experience in construction management, civil engineering or a related discipline desirable
