Construo Recruitment are working in partnership with a growing construction and fit‑out contractor to recruit an experienced Site Coordinator to support the delivery of maintenance and fit‑out projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Coordinator or Site Supervisor with a strong understanding of construction site operations to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The Role
As Site Coordinator, you will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and project teams while ensuring quality, programme and health & safety standards are maintained throughout project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily site activities to ensure works are delivered in line with project programmes
- Acting as the main point of contact between subcontractors, suppliers, Project Managers and clients
- Monitoring site progress, workmanship quality and programme performance
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
- Preparing daily site reports and maintaining accurate project records
- Coordinating material deliveries and ensuring resources are available when required
- Identifying and resolving site issues to minimise project delays
- Managing site documentation including permits, RAMS and attendance records
- Supporting snagging, project close‑out and final handover activities
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Coordinator, Site Supervisor or similar within the construction or fit‑out sector
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and project delivery
- Good knowledge of health & safety procedures and site compliance
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and competing priorities
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- Competent using Microsoft Office and standard project documentation systems
- Full UK Driving Licence advantageous
