Construo Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major Energy from Waste project in Scotland on behalf of a growing delivery partner. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven QS to join a high-profile infrastructure project with long-term potential as the business continues to expand its presence across Scotland.
The Role
Working as part of the commercial team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a major Energy from Waste scheme. The position offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week required on site and the remainder remote. We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused professional with strong project delivery experience and the ability to manage commercial responsibilities across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial management of project packages and subcontractors
- Cost control, forecasting, and reporting
- Contract administration and change management
- Supporting project delivery teams to achieve commercial targets
- Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Strong commercial and project delivery background
- Experience working on major infrastructure or industrial projects
- NEC contract knowledge desirable
- Previous Energy from Waste experience advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
