An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their professional team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and other security systems.
  • Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (BS5839, BS5266, NSI, etc.)
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Participating in the on-call rota and attending emergency call-outs when required.
  • Completing accurate reports and documentation for all works carried out.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Fire and Security Engineer.
  • Competent with a variety of systems (e.g. Advanced, Kentec, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, etc.).
  • Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Relevant industry qualifications (FIA Units, ECS, CSCS, IPAF, etc.)
  • Experience working on both domestic and commercial systems.
