An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their professional team. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and other security systems.
- Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (BS5839, BS5266, NSI, etc.)
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Participating in the on-call rota and attending emergency call-outs when required.
- Completing accurate reports and documentation for all works carried out.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Fire and Security Engineer.
- Competent with a variety of systems (e.g. Advanced, Kentec, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, etc.).
- Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Relevant industry qualifications (FIA Units, ECS, CSCS, IPAF, etc.)
- Experience working on both domestic and commercial systems.
