Project Director – High Rise Residential (Bristol)

Salary: £100,000 – £130,000 + Benefits.

Role Overview

Construo Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Project Director to lead a landmark high‑rise residential apartment development in the heart of Bristol. This flagship project requires a senior leader with a proven track record delivering large‑scale residential schemes with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a major high‑rise residential scheme
• Provide strategic leadership to project, commercial and technical teams
• Ensure robust programme, cost, quality and safety management
• Oversee design coordination and technical compliance
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the supply chain
• Champion a positive site culture and high‑performance environment
• Lead reporting, risk management, and project governance activities

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Director with a main contractor
• A strong track record in delivering high‑rise residential apartment projects
• Leadership of major projects – £40m+ preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation and team‑building skills
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Ability to manage complex technical, logistical and stakeholder challenges
