About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading international engineering and services provider to recruit a BIM Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to lead digital engineering delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects within the built environment sector. You will play a key role in driving BIM strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and embedding digital innovation across all stages of project delivery. The role will suit an experienced BIM professional looking to take ownership of digital processes, mentor teams, and contribute to forward-thinking, technology-led project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM and digital engineering delivery across multiple projects
- Develop and coordinate BIM models across RIBA Stages 2–5
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, EIRs, BEPs, and asset information requirements
- Manage clash detection, model validation, and coordinated design outputs
- Oversee Common Data Environment (CDE) processes including document control and governance
- Conduct audits, enforce version control, and maintain data integrity
- Facilitate coordination workshops and support project teams with digital delivery
- Drive innovation including adoption of digital tools, automation, and emerging technologies
- Support implementation of digital platforms for site workflows and project delivery
- Deliver training, mentoring, and CPD sessions to BIM and CAD teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in BIM or CAD management roles (typically 5+ years)
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and CDE platforms
- Solid understanding of ISO 19650, COBie, IFC, and BIM standards
- Experience managing digital workflows across design and construction stages
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive digital consistency
Desirable
- Experience with scripting tools such as Dynamo
- Familiarity with digital tools for planning, automation, or reporting
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction-related discipline
- BIM certifications (e.g. BSI, BRE)
- Working towards professional accreditation (e.g. CIBSE, CIOB, ICE)
