We are working with a well-established Building Services consultancy looking to add a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to their growing team in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to take a leading role across a varied portfolio of projects while supporting junior engineers and contributing to project delivery from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role within the engineering team, delivering high-quality mechanical building services design solutions across multiple sectors.

The Role

  • Lead mechanical design on several small projects or take ownership of medium-sized projects
  • Support the delivery of larger-scale projects within the wider design team
  • Produce conceptual and detailed mechanical designs to client specifications
  • Carry out feasibility and viability assessments
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and calculations
  • Attend and chair client and project meetings
  • Support project delivery, coordination, and resource planning
  • Mentor and review the work of junior engineers
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
