We are currently seeking an experienced HSG47 Operative to join our client on a National Grid project.
Requirements:
- Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)
- Valid HSG47 qualification and experience in safe excavation practices
- Competent in the use of CAT & Genny equipment to locate underground services
- Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or National Grid projects
- Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Duties:
- Carry out underground utility detection using CAT & Genny in accordance with HSG47 guidance
- Identify, mark, and protect buried services prior to excavation works
- Assist in ensuring all excavations are carried out safely and in compliance with National Grid procedures
- Complete required documentation and report any discrepancies or hazards
- Follow site instructions and National Grid safety standards
- Assist with general site duties when required
