Construkt RS is currently recruiting for a Cost Clerk / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on an infrastructure project in Pembroke.
Duties
- Maintaining accurate project cost records and spreadsheets
- Supporting the Quantity Surveyor and wider commercial team
- Tracking labour, plant, materials and subcontractor costs
- Checking invoices, purchase orders and timesheets
- Assisting with cost reports, forecasts and reconciliations
- Monitoring project expenditure and identifying discrepancies
- Maintaining commercial documentation and project records
- Liaising with site and office-based teams
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cost Clerk, Commercial Administrator, AQS or Quantity Surveying Assistant
- Strong Excel and general IT skills
- Good numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
- Experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or rail would be advantageous
- Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
- Confident communicating with project and commercial teams
