Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on marketing communication person to drive our high-impact PR, events, community and content efforts—building awareness, generating deal flow and strengthening LP relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Content & Social Networks
- Research and write blog posts or industry updates in LinkedIn, our website, Reddit and other relevant media
- Produce case studies based on the fund’s successful investments
- Work with the partners and associates on regular throught leadership pieces around our investment thesis
- Adapt content for social networks and oversee newsletter production
- Support occasional targeted promotions to amplify key announcements
PR & Media Relations
- Draft and distribute press releases, op-eds and story pitches
- Maintain and expand a targeted media contact list
- Secure placements in top-tier and niche outlets; manage relationships with editors
Events & Community
- Plan and run offline and online events, virtual roundtables, demo-days, campus hackathons etc
- Coordinate logistics: invites, platform setup, speaker liaison and attendee follow-up
- Cultivate partnerships with universities, corporate R&D units and industry groups
Reporting & Operations
- Maintain a shared content calendar and asset library
- Track and report on event attendance, media mentions, web traffic and lead metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in B2B marketing, communications or startup/VC marketing
- Strong writing, editing and research abilities
- Experience managing events, community programs or PR campaigns
- Comfortable with basic social-network tools and email platforms
- Highly organized, proactive and able to juggle multiple projects
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in VC, accelerator or tech startups
- Basic design or video-editing skills
- STEM education or genuine interest in emerging technologies
