A highly successful leading subcontractor known for their expertise in façades is seeking an experienced Estimator to oversee their projects winning process from inception to project win in London. The company is well recognised for their ability to design, procure, and install a variety of façade systems for some of the most prestigious multimillion projects in London. They seek to strengthen their team with an individual knowledgeable with re-cladding and remediation works.
As an Estimator you will be supporting and reporting to the Estimating Manager to ensure successful delivery of various façade project wins. Therefore, your day to day responsibilities will vary from but are not limited to:
- Reviewing the Tender documentation.
- Developing the Tender design by proposing building details and construction methods.
- Estimating the cost of the internal production activities.
- Searching potential external suppliers.
- Managing price requests to external suppliers.
- Compiling the Tender submissions.
- Monitoring Tenders after submission and respond to any further requests by the client.
- Managing all communications with the client during the Tender process.
- Liaising with the Engineering and Production departments.
The ideal Estimator will have graduated with at least an HND or equivalent qualification and some practical experience ideally exposure to a suitable specialist sub-contractor and preferably with experience of curtain walling, cladding and roofing. Ideally re-cladding. You will have a focused attitude, and excellent communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team and possess a high level of motivation.
The salary will be dependent and a product of experience. In return, the package will include a car allowance and additional benefits which will be negotiable.
