Constructive moves are recruiting for a Development Engineer to join a national housing developer that builds traditional housing developments across East Anglia. The Technical Department is very busy, so this role would ideally suit an Engineer with experience of working on volume housing schemes from either a consultancy or housing developer background.
This role will be an integral part of the technical team overseeing external Design and Engineering Consultants involved in the project management and administration of all technical and design matters for various residential projects.
- Brief and commission site investigations, topographical survey and other assessment reports on land acquired.
- Brief engineering consultants on scope of design, which includes roads, sewers, private drainage, retaining walls, external levels, foundation designs and any other substructures below DPC level either private or adopted.
- Initial negotiations/enquiries with statutory bodies and utility undertakers on environmental, drainage, highways and other engineering issues when appraising land.
The role is offering a market competitive salary and there is also a benefits package which includes a car/car allowance, pension and a bonus scheme.
