Constructive Moves are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a housing developer based within the Northamptonshire region. This is a critical role in the design of the developments, with involvement of multi-disciplinary aspects of the development process including roads and sewers. Duties: Preparation of detailed designs for development infrastructure, including site layouts, highways, services, drainage, foundations and legal plans. Manage own development projects and coordinate the process at all stages Preparation, submission and closing out of relevant applications inc S278/38, S104/106, Building Regulations and Planning Conditions Visit site throughout the design and build process to support on technical queries and see the progression of development Requirements: Hold a Civil Engineering degree is desirable, or equivalent in working experience Substantial experience gained within the role of an Engineer, with a consultancy background or housebuilder with in-house design Experience of creating detailed designs of infrastructure, foundations, highways, drainage and external work in housing developments IT skills including knowledge of packages as Microsoft, AutoCAD, PDS and FLOW (or similar) Benefits: * Flexible working/hybrid working options available * bonus scheme * Car Allowance * Professional subscriptions paid * pension scheme If you would like further detail about this opportunity, please confirm the best number to contact you to discuss the full role description
