This leading residential developer, based in London, is actively looking for 2 Design Managers for two new schemes it will be starting in the next two months. The schemes vary in size from 100 to 300 units, all of which are RC Frame apartments and a mixture of Social and Build to Rent. Sites are based in West London and have a build time of 3 years from start to finish.
As the lead Design Manager, you will be based on site, as part of a Commercial, Production and Design Team. You will manage the consultant engineers for all the design-related issues and buildability of the project. Ensure all the agreements and certificates are in place to build the project. Manage the scope of the design and the quality of the build. Assist the Project Manager with all the timely information required to manage the timescales of the project to time and budget.
You should be currently working as a Design Manager for another residential developer or a highly experienced consultant engineer or architect who has seen residential schemes through from start to finish. This company is going through a large-scale growth plan over the next five years, and therefore there will be numerous opportunities for ambitious Design Managers to progress their career with this expanding developer.
