Constructive Moves is working with a leading Residential Contractor with an unparalleled reputation for high-quality design, build and schemes to source a new Health and Safety Manager due to the expansion of its Health and Safety department. You will be providing visible health and safety leadership and support to a number of residential projects.

This role will suit a proactive person that is adept at understanding the needs of a team. You will be a great communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to present information to different audiences at project and subcontractor levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as health and safety advisor over a number of projects, keeping projects abreast of new developments and applying professional standards to ensure best practice.
  • Providing health and safety advice to site and project managers to assist them in achieving business objectives.
  • In charge of the development of the health, safety and welfare management system, its implementation, audit, and measuring and monitoring health, safety and welfare performance.
  • Overseeing health, safety and welfare risk management, health, safety and welfare incident reporting and investigation.

As a person, you will need to hold a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety, or equivalent.
