What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced HR Administrator to support the HR function in the administration of People related matters including, but not limited to, recruitment and payroll administration, systems and data support, and employee wellbeing. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter who thrives in a high-performance environment, can remain calm under pressure, and enjoys being the trusted partner to a busy workforce. If you’re someone who embraces challenges and takes pride in delivering exceptional work, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Talent Lead with recruitment administration, including booking interviews, sending supporting documents, welcoming candidates, etc.
- Onboarding of new starters
- Payroll administration
- Maintain employee records in the HR portal Bamboo, and providing reports for the Finance team
- Administration of the pension portal and HR portal
- Assisting with Right to Work Checks and administration of the visa portal
- Liaison with Employee Benefits provider
- Support in writing letters for employees detailing changes in their employment
- Support in capturing, reporting and analysing key HR data and metrics
- Ordering life event gifts, such as; baby flowers, wedding gifts, end of year gifts, etc.
- Processing probation review documentation
- Support with wellbeing activities and projects
- Any other tasks as required
As an ideal candidate you will have:
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a hands-on approach to new projects.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring tasks are executed to the highest standard.
- Respect for the need for confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Office suite knowledge (MS Office, online file sharing, PDF management, etc.) and at least intermediate computer literacy.
- Excited by the thought of joining a fast-growing team in its early days.
- Previous experience in a start-up environment ideal but not essential.
- CIPD Level 3 (or above) qualified or equivalent experience ideal but not essential.
- Experience of using BambooHR ideal but not essential.
