About the Role

We are currently recruiting a reliable and hard-working General Yard Operative to join our client's team at their depot in Walsall.

You will be working on-site to assist with day-to-day yard operations, helping ensure the site remains efficient, organized, and safe while operating machinery and supporting general operational duties as required by the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating Forklift Trucks (Reach and Counterbalance) to load, unload, and move materials around the yard.
• Assisting our client's team with general yard maintenance, tidying, and organization.
• Staging stock and materials efficiently for daily site operations.
• Strictly adhering to site health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Truck Licences: Must hold both Reach and Counterbalance qualifications.
• Previous experience working in a yard, depot, or industrial environment.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Full PPE (Safety Boots, High-Vis, Gloves, Hard Hat).
• Right-to-work documentation.
