Conrad Consulting is recruiting an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to support a major infrastructure programme in Milton Keynes.
The role will focus on cost verification and auditing subcontractor costs across a major supply chain, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional with a strong rail and audit background.
The Role
You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying subcontractor costs, providing commercial assurance and challenging cost information where required.
- Reviewing subcontractor costs and commercial submissions.
- Undertaking cost verification and audit activity.
- Providing robust commercial assurance.
- Identifying discrepancies and challenging costs where appropriate.
- Supporting commercial reporting and governance.
- Working with project and supply chain stakeholders.
- Applying NEC contractual knowledge to commercial assessments.
About You
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Significant commercial management experience.
- Previous rail infrastructure experience.
- Strong cost audit / cost verification experience.
- Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Experience reviewing subcontractor costs.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- The confidence to challenge commercial information constructively.
Candidates will be required to undertake a client interview and approval process before appointment.
