Facilities Assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Assistant to join a busy Facilities Management team on a temporary basis.
This is a varied, customer-facing role where you will help ensure the office environment is safe, clean, well-maintained and welcoming for colleagues and visitors.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include
- Acting as the first point of contact for colleagues, visitors and contractors.
- Carrying out reception and switchboard duties.
- Ensuring meeting rooms are prepared, stocked and ready for use.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and arranging couriers.
- Conducting regular site checks to maintain high standards across the office.
- Reporting and coordinating maintenance issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Issuing security passes and keys in line with site procedures.
- Supporting health and safety activities, including routine safety checks and incident reporting.
- Assisting with purchase orders and monitoring contractor performance.
- Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to requests.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Previous experience in a facilities, administration or customer service environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Risk Assessments
