We are working directly with the board of an Estate who are looking to hire a Building Manager / Estate Manager as follows:
The Building Manager / Estate Manager will be directly employed by the Estate itself; there is no managing agent. The estate is based in West London and comprises 250 units split across 9 blocks with gardens/grounds and a community hall. There are lifts and a communal boiler/heating system, but no other M&E / FM elements so experience of Pools/Gyms/BMS is NOT required.
You will be based on the Estate itself, in the Estate office, and have 3 direct reports (Security, Grounds Person and Caretaker). This is a 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday.
The Building Manager / Estate Manager will manage all aspects of the site to extremely high standards, from staff management to resident engagement, maintenance and repairs reporting, lease compliance and H&S / Inspection (reporting back to the board as required).
Impeccable presentation and communication skills are essential, including excellent written and spoken English.
Salary for the successful Building Manager / Estate Manager will start at up to £55k with 28 days holiday plus public holidays, alongside a pension with reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance.
