We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 6-month contract overseeing the construction of a new-build industrial warehouse facility.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing industrial or commercial construction projects, with specific experience delivering steel frame warehouse or industrial unit builds from groundworks through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of site operations.
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure programme deadlines are achieved.
- Managing health & safety on site and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring works are completed to specification.
- Conducting site meetings and reporting progress to senior management.
- Managing site logistics, labour, materials and plant requirements.
- Maintaining project documentation and site records.
- Ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial construction projects.
- Previous experience delivering steel frame warehouse/industrial unit developments.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to drive programme and manage multiple subcontractors effectively.
Desirable
- Experience working on warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution facilities.
- Temporary works knowledge.
- Experience managing projects from groundworks through to handover.
