The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

As a Painter, you will assist in the delivery of amazing brand standards and immaculate guest facilities. You will take pride in your work whilst working closely with all team members to deliver exceptional standards. You must have good health & safety awareness in relation to working with hazardous substances, working to heights and appropriate risk assessments. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with face‑to‑face and telephone customer enquiries. You will embrace every opportunity to create extra special moments for our guests to provide a personal experience our guests will want to share.

Joining the dedicated housekeeping department, you will:

  • Complete effective painting (both repair work and preventative work) for the whole hotel.
  • Ensure that all paint supplies are at agreed colour codes and are used in the correct areas.
  • Carry out day to day painting requests as detailed in the Hotel Service Pro system.
  • Liaise with Executive Housekeeper on a daily basis to record completed work.
  • Work flexibly to suit business levels.
  • Ensure all painting work is carried out within the perimeters of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Support the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments with completion of items from each monthly walk round as directed by Executive Housekeeper.
  • Provide assistance to the Maintenance Manager as requested.

As a Painter, you will have excellent attention to detail in order to provide consistent standards. This is a vital role in the function of the hotel and ultimately the service provided to our guests before, during and after their stay. You will be a great multi‑tasker, efficient and self‑motivating to complete tasks in a timely fashion and you will always have a smile for our teams and guests. Qualifications:

  • Can deliver excellent standards.
  • Is self‑aware and able to evaluate their own work.
  • Has the ability to multi‑task and provides excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of working as a painter and decorator is essential.
  • Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.
  • Knowledge of basic decorating techniques.
  • Knowledge of basic filling techniques.
