Citadines Islington Square London is seeking a confident Maintenance Handyperson to join our team. You will support our 24/7 operations, reporting to the Maintenance Manager and ensuring guests receive memorable experiences throughout the city.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement all policies, standards and procedures for Water Hygiene, Energy Conservation and Control, Fire Prevention and other Safety Programmes, and Effective Preventative and Routine Maintenance Inspections.
  • Respond to job log system registered works and complete all jobs assigned within the targeted timescale.
  • Monitor engineering stock levels, log shift activities regularly and communicate appropriately when needed.
  • Report any hazards or defects to senior management.
  • Process handovers in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
  • Ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
  • Good command of English is essential; a second language is advantageous.
  • Organisation, communication, time management, Microsoft Office, multitasking, technical skills, attention to detail, customer focus, teamwork, and problem solving.
