- Producing bespoke doors, windows, fitted furniture, staircases, and commercial joinery
- Reading technical drawings and preparing cutting lists
- Managing materials and maintaining quality standards
- Setting up and safely operating workshop machinery, including planers, spindle moulders, and table saws
- Keeping the workshop tidy and following health and safety procedures
Applicants should have proven experience as a bench joiner. An NVQ Level 2 or 3 is preferred but not essential. You should be confident working from drawings and to tight tolerances, able to work independently and as part of a small team, and reliable, tidy, and safety-conscious. Having your own tools is an advantage but not required.
Pay is Β£25-Β£30 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time hours are 40 per week, with part-time work also considered. Overtime is paid, and benefits include a pension, 28 days' holiday pro rata, a modern workshop, and stable year-round work. A paid trial day is available.
