We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Materials Technician with at least 2 years of experience in materials testing to join our team based in Truro. In this role, you will conduct on-site materials testing and analysis for various construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site testing of construction materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) according to UK industry standards (BS, EN, ASTM).
- Perform tests including plate testing, concrete cube making, and more.
- Record and evaluate material performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain field-testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure testing procedures are not delayed.
- Collaborate with site teams to resolve material-related issues.
