Responsibilities
- To provide quotes to customers in a timely manner, ensuring all quotes are sent with the correct and accurate information requested by the customer, including any supporting information.
- As part of a team, monitor the estimating shared email box and respond to enquiries and requests promptly.
- Following guidance and in accordance with procedure provide appropriate prices when quoting which win work and make profit for CTS.
- Ensure that estimating activity is performed efficiently and to the relevant legal, statutory and customer's requirements, without loss in quality or standards.
- Manage the process of annual updating regional rates to reflect pricing changes, as well as amendments to specific customer-termed rates which need to be reflected in Netsuite.
- Work with relevant subcontractors (both within the Group and outside it) to ensure we have access to agreed rates for work CTS subcontract on a regular basis.
- Ensure all quotes are populated and updated on our CRM system.
- Manage and record key commercial metrics associated with estimating and quotations, including (but not limited to) win rate and reasons for quotes being declined.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all customer information obtained or created during the performance of estimating customer quotations.
