Undertake on-site testing to piled foundation on construction sites nationwide.

Assist engineers on large projects.

Ensure that projects are completed to a high standard and within set deadlines.

Ensure that all on-site activities are conducted safely and ensure that all control measures within their risk assessment are completed.

Monitor their workload on site and ensure that it will be completed on time.

Communicate any problems that occur to their line manager and to the client and determine the best possible solution.

Ensure that good quality notes are taken on site so others can produce a report from them.

Clean and maintain company equipment and vehicles.

Compile test reports from work completed on site by you or by others.

Have an open mind to new tests and procedures.

  • CSCS card or equivalent
  • Full clean driving license
  • Construction industry experience
  • Computer literacy including a good understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • A good standard of English and Mathematics
  • Able to perform physical tasks for long periods
  • Excellence in organisational skills
  • Excellence in communication skills
  • Excellence in analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility for occasional overnight stays
  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering or construction related discipline (preferable)
