The Project Manager is responsible for the on-site supervision and co-ordination of gas, electricity, water and telecoms projects working closely with the Project Co-ordinator to ensure the successful delivery of schemes in a timely and accurate manner.
- To identify the minimum information requirements to enable a new connection application to be made to the Network for gas, electricity and water connections.
- To be able to make applications to the Networks for new gas, electricity, water, sewer and telecommunication connections based on information provided by the client.
- Knowledge of BNO/IDNO/Electrician metering options and cost/benefits of each option.
- To interact professionally with suppliers to obtain information relevant to the project.
- To build strong supplier relationships.
- To source new suppliers and ensure they meet ‘fit for purpose’ criteria.
- Identifying the best supplier(s) for the scope of work requested by the client.
