Your Role
As a BDM, you’ll be instrumental in driving our growth strategy. Working within our Pre-Construction team, you’ll develop strong relationships with key clients, identify and secure new opportunities, and help deliver utility connection solutions that exceed expectations.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining customer relationships: Engage with developers, consultants and contractors through meetings, calls, site visits and ongoing follow-ups.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities: Use market insights to develop sales strategies and secure new business across electricity, gas, water.
- Collaborating internally: Work closely with our estimating, tender and design teams to shape competitive proposals and ensure we deliver exactly what clients need.
- Managing your pipeline: Maintain accurate records in our CRM, track performance metrics and provide regular reports on your activity and progress.
- Attend industry events, networking sessions and client presentations to promote our capabilities and build future business.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B sales or business development (essential)
- Experience in the utilities, new connections or infrastructure sector (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of electricity, gas, water or Renewable/EV infrastructure connections (desirable)
- Confident, people-focused approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence
