We are looking for a Trainee Fire Door Inspector to join our clients growing team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in fire safety and inspections, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining valuable hands-on experience. You’ll be working closely with their technical support advisor, supporting them in carrying out pre-inspections across a range of buildings. Your main tasks will involve visiting sites ahead of our inspection teams to effectively map out the layout, preparing the way for detailed fire door inspections. The role involves regular travel, primarily in and around London but also extending across the South of England up to Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend sites to conduct pre-inspections
  • Accurately map out buildings and prepare site information
  • Work closely with the Technical Support Advisor and Inspection Team
  • Ensure clear and professional communication with internal teams
  • Maintain high standards of detail and accuracy in site reporting

What We’re Looking For:

  • A keen eye for detail and good observational skills
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the fire safety sector
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence working independently on site
  • Full Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience in fire safety or construction (preferred but not essential – full training provided)
